Catalysr is an award winning social enterprise. We have supported over 1045 migrant and refugee entrepreneurs (aka migrapreneurs) from 87 countries, over the past 8 years.
We believe entrepreneurship is a powerful tool for social change and provide early-stage founders with programs, mentorship, and resources to help them succeed.

The Opportunity:
We are excited to share that we are hiring a Content Creator to lead Catalysr’s content marketing and communications strategy. This role is key to increasing visibility for our flagship programs, consulting services, and impact stories while also providing marketing support to our Migrapreneurs
Employment type: Full time
Salary: $75k + super
Location: Remote (Australia-based)
Who you are:
The ideal candidate is passionate about startups, tech, and social impact and understands how to craft compelling content that resonates with diverse audiences.
The key skills and experience required for this role include:
Bachelors in Business, Marketing or Communications (required)
Minimum 5 years experience in a Marketing & Communications role, ideally in tech, social impact, or startup environments.
Proven experience in social media content creation and campaign execution.
Strong agency management experience.
Deep understanding of campaign development, management, and amplification.
Experience managing marketing for startups, SMEs, and small-budget initiatives.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Google Workspace, Adobe Suite (Photoshop & Illustrator), and Canva.
Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, UI/UX, video production, CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot), pixels, Google Ads, and Google Analytics (preferred).
As a remote first organisation, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere in Australia.

Key responsibilites:
Here are some of the key responsibilities you will be doing in this role to give you a broader picture of what to expect:
Develop and implement engaging campaigns across websites, social media, podcasts, and newsletters, ensuring consistency in Catalysr’s brand voice and messaging.
Document and showcase the impact of our Migrapreneurs through digital storytelling, case studies, testimonials, and multimedia content.
Manage social media content creation, advertising strategies, and budget allocation.
Oversee external communications, PR, and media relations.
Collaborate with designers, videographers, and external contractors to produce high-quality visual and written content.
Ensure all digital platforms are regularly updated and track content performance metrics.
Apart from the above, you will also be supporting the content marketing strategy and needs of our migrapreneurs.
Strategy & Operations
Manage the creative budget and ensure cost-effective marketing initiatives.
Conduct market research and gather insights to refine marketing strategies.
Develop playbooks, KPIs, OKRs, and performance metrics to track and enhance impact.
Marketing & Support for Migrapreneurs:
Provide marketing training, toolkits, and guidance to early-stage startups.
Support Migrapreneurs in navigating branding, advertising, and growth challenges.
Advise on product positioning, pricing strategies, and audience engagement techniques.
