Robert Karimagako is a trained electrical engineer from Zimbabwe, who has been developing his own micro-grid technology for the past 2 years. He has 7 years of experience in the energy sector and wants to set up a Peer-to-Peer energy trading system using a micro-grid in Zimbabwe called Green Grid Energy in collaboration with Sharat Sami, a telecom engineer from Fiji.

As a backpacker himself in Australia, Pascal Seibold found that it isn’t as easy as many travellers think to find a job, earn money, buy a car and live the dream. On the other side, employers find it difficult to get the right applicant with the desired skills, requirements and experiences. To address this problem, Pascal teamed up with Killian Gerbl and Markus Springer and created jobspottr - an online platform to connect backpackers looking for jobs with employers.

YogiBirth is the product of husband and wife team, Laura Myers (a midwife, pregnancy yoga teacher and educator) and Tom Ray (a start-up growth specialist).

Their vision is a world where no woman fears birth.

It is a place to Discover, Follow and Click Websites, News and Promotions and share it with friends. With this idea the Qliiq team are trying to solve 2 problems

Firstly, users can save their websites bookmarking in one app and share with friends. Secondly, websites can connect directly with followers and obtain visibility in the Qliiq home page or within the Web-Application.

Spiral Blue is a SpaceTech startup by Taofiq Huq and Henry Zhong. Their product is an early warning system for detecting maritime piracy using satellites.

Still in the early stages of development, they will be taking satellite images of the seas, and build AI algorithms using machine learning to identify ships and pick out pirates. In the future, they plan to launch their own constellation of satellites.

The Pluralist was founded by Muheeb Hoque, as a social enterprise with a mission to sell a product with a social message of acceptance and pluralism. They sell watches, which are inspired by the philosophy of pluralism.

Pluralist does that by bringing unique watches with diverse numeral writing systems. So far they have done 4 different product releases. He has bootstrapped the social enterprise, and is currently looking for fundraising to grow.

Directa's mission is to empower migrants and refugees to become self reliant and independent of welfare.

Amar Nagpal and Muhammad Ali Qureshi are the co-founders of 2-boys in Saris - a street food performance art company with a social mission.

They've been running a catering company for Indian cuisine and have also been involved in performance art around NSW. However, they want to level up and build a social enterprise food truck combining their passion for performance art and Indian food. They plan to also provide employment opportunities to LGBTQIA people of colour and to share a portion of of their profits to international LGBTQIA advocacy efforts.
